White Van – registration might be KN57 ARX – a white transit type van – potentially a Mercedes van
Three foreign occupants – appeared to be scouting gardens and properties and attempted to cold call an occupant – when challenged – left swiftly with no explanation.
Reported by villagers on Whatsapp – subsequently Amesbury Police informed and have logged the incident and are tracking to build an intelligence picture.
Police report that the vehicle is known for scrap metal thefts. Police request that all remain vigilant and call the police if this or any other vehicle/occupants are up to apparent nefarious activity. If vehicle/persons acting suspiciously or attending elderly persons property call 999.
