Elections May 2025: On Thursday 1 May 2025, elections will take place for Unitary Wiltshire Councillors and Parish and Town Councils in Wiltshire. For Steeple Langford Parish this will encompass the Parish Council elections and election of the Nadder Valley Division Area Board Councillor who will represent Steeple Langford Parish at both the Area Board and Wiltshire Council. The Steeple Langford Parish Council has seven Parish Councillors to be elected. If there are more than seven candidates – a contested election will be held. In the event seven or less candidates stand for election, then the election will be deemed ‘uncontested’, and providing candidates comply with the statutory requirements, they will be appointed.

Nomination papers may be submitted between the hours of 10am and 4pm from 12 March to the nomination deadline at 4pm on 2 April 2025.
