A main sewage pipe running from Hanging Langford to Great Wishford has burst about 500 metres to the east of Hanging Langford. Wessex Water plan to close the road between Hanging Langford and Great Wishford on Wednesday 12 March for several days to do the repair work. So parishioners are not inconvenienced, the intention is to open the Wylye Road in Hanging Langford first, before closing the Great Wishford Road. The Parish Council are in close touch with all parties and will update you as and when new information is made available.
